The Top Shop is an old 1950’s milk bar, sitting at the corner of Massinger and Carlyle Street just up from Clarkes Beach in Byron Bay. In 2008, with a vision for something fresh and different the Top Shop team set to work transforming the little shop on the hill into a place focused on providing the highest quality food and coffee in a fun and welcoming atmosphere. Today, we continue to build upon that original vision. With the support of local farmers and suppliers we work hard to ensure that everyone who visits the Top Shop leaves with full bellies and big smiles (and possibly even a sun burn from lounging out on the grass.) So, whoever you are, come on in to our little shop on the hill. Bring your friends, your family, your appetite (and maybe your sunscreen) and in no time we promise you’ll feel right at home.

The Top Shop is proud to work closely with local farmers and suppliers to give you the healthiest, best tasting and most ethically sourced produce available. Loaves and buns are organic and baked daily. Chicken and bacon are local and free range. Hayters Hill Farm, overlooking the bay 5 minutes away, gives us beef patties, sausage and eggs that are pastured, free range and are incredibly fresh.
